Honest packaging
Ärliga förpackningar’, or ‘Honest Packaging’ is a project dedicated to creating sustainable and transparent packaging for food. In collaboration with Leonard Ekenberg, we developed a versatile design suitable for various types of containers, including Tetra packs, boxes, and cans.
Our goal was to ensure the packaging communicates its contents clearly and honestly, without compromising on visual appeal. Each side of the packaging delivers essential information, empowering consumers to make informed and eco-friendly choices. The colors on the front and back can be black, white, or gray, reflecting the product's climate-smart credentials. Additionally, the other sides feature a comprehensive list of contents and utilize small icons for a quick and intuitive understanding of the ingredients.
The visual identity, which includes design elements, illustrations, and a custom typeface, was developed in collaboration with Leonard Ekenberg. In addition to being applied to the products, the design was also featured on posters and printed materials.
'Ärliga Förpackningar' was created in partnership with Svenskt Tenn and was showcased in their store in Stockholm in 2021.
